Why Choose Clearview Women's BPD Treatment CenterFor years, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) was thought to be untreatable. People diagnosed with BPD often felt stigmatized, helpless, and alone.

But we knew there was hope for the 1 to 2 percent of the population struggling with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, so we developed a treatment center that could provide that hope.

At Clearview Women’s Center, we are committed to helping women suffering from the symptoms of BPD, emotional dysregulation, and other acute psychiatric disorders. We are the only treatment center on the West Coast that is completely committed to treating this population at all levels of care, and we have been since we opened our residential treatment program in 2009.

Because our treatment program was created specifically for a BPD diagnosis, we can provide more tailored and effective treatment to our clients. We provide this treatment in intimate, inviting environments instead of a hospital or institutional setting, so that you can feel more relaxed and comfortable during your stay.

We have since expanded our expert treatment from residential to day and outpatient treatment, allowing us to provide care to even more people who need it. We offer competitive pricing so that cost doesn’t become a barrier to you receiving the treatment you need.

Comprehensive DBT

We’re also the only treatment center on the West Coast to provide comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at all levels of care. This is because DBT has been thoroughly researched and proven to work in treating BPD, emotional dysregulation, and other mental health disorders.

While at Clearview Women’s Center, you will gain a thorough understanding of the core DBT modules and have a wealth of opportunities to put your skills into practice. Our staff, who have all been extensively trained in DBT, will be by your side to guide you in your treatment with empathy and kindness.

All of our DBT therapists have been trained by Marsha Linehan’s training institute, Behavioral Tech, or other highly regarded DBT trainers or training institutions. They have gained specific knowledge in the treatment of BPD and other emotional disorders and regularly consult with international DBT expert Charles Swenson, MD, to ensure we are providing the best treatment possible. All of our therapists are committed to helping you accomplish your goals.

Evidence-Based Treatment

In addition to DBT, our staff has expertise in a variety of other evidence-based therapies, all of which have been shown to be effective through much research. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety for trauma, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are seamlessly integrated into your treatment plan to afford you the most skills possible to manage your symptoms and enhance your life.

When appropriate based on your diagnosis and other factors, you can participate in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) to help you address symptoms of trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We uniquely offer this therapy in our women’s residential treatment program.
