TREATMENT APPROACH
Treatment incorporates the most current, evidenced based treatment modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mentalization based interventions, and psychodynamic therapy.
Individual psychotherapy is a critical component of our program. Each patient receives three to five individual sessions per week with a Ph.D. or Master’s level psychotherapist with special expertise in women’s treatment.
Women admitting to The Center often have histories of early stressors or unresolved trauma. Trauma based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) are utilized to relieve the symptoms of trauma. Identifying and treating the symptoms of trauma is a hallmark of the Clearview Model.
WHY WOMEN ONLY TREATMENT
Women seeking treatment for mental health issues often have a history of trauma, abuse, or neglect. Treatment in a women’s only setting enables women to experience a safe, supportive environment, some for the very first time, to begin their healing process. The treatment team at Clearview Women’s Center possess special expertise in women’s issues and are experts in the care and treatment of women.
FULL CONTINUUM OF CARE
Research indicates that length of treatment is highly correlated with positive treatment outcomes. Clearview Women’s Center offers a full continuum of care including our Women’s Residential Treatment Center, Women’s Transitional Living Center, Intensive Day Treatment Program, and Day and Evening Outpatient. Offering multiple levels of care enables us to provide longer term, cost effective treatment solutions.
Our complete continuum allows us to provide length of stays from 30 days to 6 months or longer, enabling the patient to maximally benefit from their treatment experience. Patients may enter treatment at the appropriate level of care based on clinical need and the demands of their home and work life.
FAMILY TREATMENT AND SUPPORT
Family involvement is considered an integral part of the treatment process. Family and couples therapy is interwoven into the patient’s treatment regimen whenever possible. Regular weekly updates are provided to the family and/or significant other with the patient’s permission. Clearview also offers a complimentary family support group at our comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Center.
